Submit published work for the index
This index is more useful the more of the field it covers. We welcome submissions from researchers, physicians, universities, laboratories, research organisations, and biotechnology companies whose published work relates to the compound classes indexed here — peer-reviewed research, clinical trials, systematic reviews, and meta-analyses.
What we do with a submission is narrow and worth stating plainly: we check that it meets the criteria below, and if it does, we add the citation to the index alongside the others. We do not peer review, grade, rank, or vouch for the science — that is the journal’s role and the reader’s, and a company that sells these compounds is the wrong party to be adjudicating research about them.
Published and indexed
Work that has appeared in a peer-reviewed journal and carries a PMID, DOI, or equivalent permanent identifier. We index the record; we do not host manuscripts.
Original or synthesis
Primary research, clinical trials, systematic reviews, and meta-analyses relating to peptide science, metabolic regulation, cellular ageing, neuroscience, or human performance.
Independent of us
We accept no submission that was funded, commissioned, or sponsored by Checkmate, and we neither pay for submissions nor accept payment for inclusion.
Verifiable at source
Every indexed entry must resolve to the publisher’s or the National Library of Medicine’s own record, so a reader can check it without passing through us.
Submitting
Send the citation — journal, title, authors, and its PMID or DOI — to our research address. Please include your institutional affiliation so we know who we are corresponding with. There is no form, because we would rather not hold personal data we have no need for.
Inclusion in this index is a bibliographic listing and nothing more. It is not peer review, not endorsement of a paper’s conclusions, and not a professional, commercial, or endorsement relationship between Checkmate and any author or institution. We do not compensate contributors, accept payment for inclusion, or index work we funded. Submitting does not grant us rights in your work beyond citing it.
