Nutrition · Fuel the body. Build the human.
Eat with intelligence.
Understand food and make better choices — clarity you can use, not an elite athlete meal plan. Small choices, kept consistently, compound. Every figure comes from a source you can open — PubMed for research, USDA FoodData Central for composition — and contested evidence sits beside the consensus.
The path
The course, in 9 topics
Read in order it runs from foundations to mechanism to application — or start anywhere. Topics that have been levelled can be read as a beginner, a graduate or a researcher, switching depth without leaving the page. Every quantitative claim closes with the sources that carry it, so you can weigh the evidence yourself.

What is published, and what is withheld
Every citation here was retrieved from PubMed by script and links to the record that produced it. Every food value was retrieved from USDA FoodData Central and links to the record it came from. No composition figure and no study finding on these pages was transcribed by hand, because a number nobody can check is a number nobody should trust.
What that standard rules out is as important as what it permits. This section makes no claim that any food prevents, treats or cures anything. It gives no individual dietary prescription, no clinical guidance, and no advice for any medical condition, pregnancy, or medication. It does not connect nutrition to any product sold on this site.
Where researchers genuinely disagree — on low-carbohydrate diets, on protein and longevity, on how certain the Mediterranean evidence is — this section says so and cites both sides. Roughly a tenth of the research library is there for that reason.
This section is educational reference material for general audiences. It is not medical or dietetic advice, it is not tailored to anyone’s circumstances, medical conditions, allergies or medication, and it is not a substitute for a qualified professional. Figures reported here describe what the cited research measured in the populations it studied — individual requirements vary substantially. Nothing here relates to the use of any product sold on this site.
